Another of my favourite birds is the Skylark.

You can't beat walking around in the fields and by the rivers and hearing the constant happy tune of the Skylark as they rise and fall in the air.

I've never found a nest, apparently they make a small grass cup on the ground often under a clump of larger grass, I have some rough ideas where they might be, but there are so many dogs that get taken for runs where I think I might get lucky enough to see a nest that I'm doubtful they would survive, but I may do a bit more investigating this Year.
