In pursuit of Perfection

As those that subscribe here and perhaps to my social and You Tube channels you will know that I love my Owls, but one bird I love more than Owls are Peregrine Falcons.

We don’t have them here in New Zealand but we do have the New Zealand falcon | Kārearea Falco novaeseelandiae a bird that can fly up to 200 kph! I have long wanted to get a decent photo of one after snapping a crap iPhone photo of a mature adult that sat on one of our gates in the driveway last August, I’ve seen them flying around the property and so many people have told me “oh I saw them here or there, or they come to dinner every night, except Wednesdays” but whenever I went to the places I was told about I came away sans images…. until today!

There’s no real words to convey how incredibly stoked I am to have found this one (a juvenile I think) but I think I will sleep with a huge grin on my face tonight!
